Come join us to make the Emerald Isle quilt with a more modern look. We will be using 3 Studio 180 tools to make this quilt. They make it easy to get the blocks the same size with beautiful points. We will have 2 kits available to choose from and Nick is hand dying the background fabric for both. One is a navy background and the other a light camel color. This will be a 3 day class spread over 4 weeks, January 28, February 4 and 18. This should be plenty of time to make the locks so we can lay the quilt out on Feb 18 and start sewing the blocks together.

Carolyn has been sewing since the age of 5 or 6 and quilting since 1981. She is a Certified Instructor for Studio 180 tools. She has won many awards from the Dallas TX Quilt Show, Black Canyon Quilt Show (Montrose CO, Bear Creek Quilt Show (Keller, TX) and has had a quilt juried in the AQS show in Lancaster PA.

Class Fee: $255.00. Includes kit with fabric, 3 rulers and pattern. Sewing machines are available for those not wishing to bring their own.

Students bring Basic sewing supplies, including thread to match colorway chosen, rotary cutter (mats will be provided) lights if you need extra lighting to see well.
