Ice Dyeing Classes
Foundations of Ice Dyeing
Explore folding techniques while learning about dye chemistry. Ice Dyeing is all about co-creating with the medium. It promotes curiosity as the final results always contain unpredictable depth and textures from the way the ice melted.
Ice Dyed Mandalas
This is one of our favorite ways to experiment with Ice Dyeing. The folds for Mandalas result in stunning designs that are a work of art to behold. It truly is one of a kind items you walk away with as each variable offers a unique shift in the outcome.
Soy Wax Batik
Adding Soy Wax Batik to the Ice Dyeing process offers another element of texture and design. The areas that the wax is resists the dye which leaves a lighter layer behind. This is done with brushes, stamps, and other eclectic application tools.
