Palazzo pants are so comfortable and versatile and are a great project for beginners and advanced creatives alike!
How to make bias waist palazzo pants that fit seamlessly?
The secret lies in the bias waist panel at the top of the pants. It allows the waist to smooth over the hips and still have an elastic waist that won’t show underneath shirts or blouses. You can make them with pockets or without, your choice! Nick will go over how to make inseam and patch pockets and will demonstrate how to put in elastic.
Here’s what you’ll receive in your Palazzo Pant Class Kit
- Pattern
- 3 to 4 yards of pant fabric
- We supply a beautiful Linen Rayon blend in a selection of colors.
- 1 ½ yard of Elastic depending on waist size. Nick likes the non-role variety.
We encourage you to bring your basic sewing supplies and polyester sewing thread, and then we’ll get started! You can also bring along a zipper for inseam pockets or buttons for patch pockets (these may be either functional or decorative) if you like.
