A weekend of friends and fabric to kick off the summer with a new outfit!

This class is for experienced beginners who want to explore techniques that are simple, yet require some foundation in sewing and following patterns.

Saturday: The Skirt

This skirt is an updated version of Nick’s previous Isabelle design. It is constructed from 6 panels of fabric and has an option to incorporate pockets. You then finish it up with a 1″ elastic waist band and elegant small hem at the base. It is versatile enough to be made in a variety of fabrics and comes with two options for length.

Sunday: The Top

This Bias Cut Tee is a wardrobe essential. It can be paired with the Isabelle 2.0 skirt, shorts, and pants. It’s a quick two piece construction. Being cut on the bias helps the fabric hang in a more comfortable and flattering way. The simplicity of the design allows you to focus on fitting it to you and to explore potential enhancements, such as a contrast collar and hems.
