Bias Waist Palazzo Pants
The secret lies in the bias waist panel at the top of the pants. It allows the waist to smooth over the hips and still have an elastic waist that won’t show underneath shirts or blouses. You can make them with pockets or without, you choose! Nick will go over how to make inseam and patch pockets and will demonstrate how to put in elastic two different ways.
Thread Painting
This project uses a combination of fibers, yarn, ribbon, and large-scale print to make a lovely little wall hanging. By layering water-soluble stabilizer, fibers, and tulle netting, you’ll start the base of your creation and move on from there to create the final piece.
Perfect for those wanting to practice their free-motion stitching technique, and finally use some of that amazing large print fabric that you have been saving.
Bias Cut Tee
During the Bias Cut Tee Class, Nick covers cutting the pattern, marking, and preparing to sew. The construction of the garment may look daunting at first, but with Nick showing you step-by-step construction techniques, it will be a piece of cake.
