I have a Beginning Knitting class series starting on December 6th, and I’d love to see you there.

It’s a three-week course where you’ll learn how to make a washcloth, a cowl, and a hat! If you want to skip the blog and head right to the reservations, click here.

But if you have a moment, I’d love to share what this class is all about! It’s a series of knitting classes tailored for beginners or someone who has never knitted before.

There are three in-person studio classes designed to walk you through the basics of knitting. There will be an intermediate class series following this one, and it will involve things like socks, basic lace, and sweaters/cardigans.

In Beginning Knitting, we’ll make a washcloth, cowl, and a hat.

Here is a link to reserve your space today.

Here are the kits you’ll receive in class:

Washcloth Supply list/Kit

Size 8 circular knitting needles, cotton yarn, darning needle, instructions, and written information regarding topics covered in class.

During the washcloth class, we’ll introduce knitting concepts such as casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, and gage(how big your stitches are!). We’ll also discuss yarn size, needle size, fiber types, and different accessories that will help make the process easier.

Cowl Supply List/Kit

Size 13 circular knitting needles, wool blend yarn, darning needle, instructions, and pattern for a cowl.

During the cowl class, we will continue with the concepts learned in the first class, and take them a step further with the addition of circular knitting, combining stitches to form a pattern, and using different weight yarn and different size needles.

Hat Supply List/Kit

Size 8 knitting circular needles, size 8 DPN’s (double pointed needles), darning needle, striping yarn, pattern, and instructions.

During the hat class, we will finish our beginning series and add ribbing and decreases to our knowledge.

Stress-free Class

There is no rush or pressure when you’re taking a class with me, so just know that you can always finish these projects and patterns the week between classes if you run out of time during class.

The cost is $120.00 total for the 3-week session. This includes the three classes and all of the kits. Here is a link to reserve your space today.

The class schedule:

December 6th from 2pm – 5pm

December 13th from 2pm – 5pm

December 20th from 2pm – 5pm

Space is limited – only ten people can attend this unique in-studio class series. I hope to see you soon!
