Antique Baskets Quilt Class
September 15, 2023 @ 9:00 am MDT - 4:00 pm MDT
$110.00 – $150.00Want to revitalize a hundred year old pattern?
This all-levels class is inspired by the antique Dallas Pleasant Valley Women’s Club quilt at the Ouray County Ranch History Museum. Local quilting expert Carolyn Ray of the Black Canyon Quilt Show will teach the class. Students will bring their own fabric (dimensions will be provided upon registration), thread, rotary cutter, and Tucker Trimmer III ruler. Additionally, students must have a sewing machine at home to continue work in between classes (we can discuss alternative options).
The Antique Basket Quilt Class includes:
- Pattern
- Sewing Machine (for use only at Dragonfly Creative)
- Option to Purchase Fabric through Dragonfly Creative
- Optional Sewing Basics Class on 9/7 4-7pm
Dates: Friday, September 15th and Monday, September 18th from 9am-4pm. First, we will learn the different pieces/blocks of the pattern and get them cut. In between the two classes, the remaining pieces should be cut. Then, we’ll put all of the pieces together on Monday, September 18th!
If you are new to sewing, don’t worry! We will host a “Sewing Basics” Class on Thursday, September 7th from 4-7pm. This opportunity will allow you to meet the teacher, Carolyn, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Class Registration Fee
- $110 if you already have a Tucker Trimmer III Ruler
- $150 includes Tucker Trimmer III Ruler
